摘要

The paper deals with theoretical and experimental analysis of unsteady temperature field in rotor of a squirrel-cage induction motor. By taking into consideration the fact that rotor current changes with resistance, the losses in bar were defined as function of time, temperature and bar height. The influence of local changes of specific resistance was taken into consideration as well. The unsteady temperature field, was calculated by means of Finite Element Method and the dependence of local coefficient of field thermal conductivity and air kinematic viscosity on temperature was taken into account.
