摘要

Integral equations methods are allready widely used to obtain solutions for the bending of plates. A first application of this method to heat transfer problems is presented. The basic equations needed for steady state problems by means of Greens functions theory are first described. Further application of the method to unsteady problems is possible by using Taylor series expansions. The method's advantage is that, in steady problems the solution requires a specification of unknowns only on limiting surfaces. In unsteady problems the alternating solution between the interior and limiting surfaces is carried out so as to allow the use of smaller matrices than those used in other methods.
