MOMENTUM FLUX DURING SUB-ATMOSPHERIC TWO-PHASE FLOW THROUGH A PIPE
摘要
Void fraction and momentum flux have been measured for flows of air/water mixtures at pressures down to 0.3 bar in a horizontal pipe. The measurements of momentum flux are compared with current theory and with other data in the literature.
A model based on an 'apparent entrainment' is proposed and offers a better prediction of momentum flux than homogeneous or current slip-flow theory.
