摘要

In this work the results of experimental investigation of convective heat transfer by gases flowing in tubes packed with granular materials of different thermal conductivity, different shapes and size, are shown. Preliminaryly the critical review of studies, published already in this field, are given. Carried out by authors investigations allowed more completely to study all factors, affecting heat transfer of gases to tube wall(and bachward) in a packed bed. This factors are: thermal conductivity of packing, fisical properties Of gases and heat flux direction. The correct choice of determining velocity of a flow and linear demension of packing allowed to suggest the relationships, which generalize well the results of our experiments, and experiments of other authors.
