HEAT TRANSFER IN COUETTE POISEUILLE FLOW CASE OF A PSEUDO-PLASTIC FLUID
摘要
The different patterns of pseudoplastic fluid flow in an annular space, with rotating inner cylinder, for an aspect ratio equals to 12 8 have been determined.
A new kind of instability was set obviously. Velocity profiles in both axial and tangential directions have been obtained by laser doppler velocimetry.
Spectral analysis of velocity fluctuations was also performed.
When the external cylinder was heated, interaction between dynamical and thermal fields was observed and characterized.
Finally, heat transfer was studied for different flow regimes and correlations were proposed, taking account of the thermodependant properties of the fluid.
Applications of this kind of flow concern mainly scrapped surface heat exchangers.
