摘要

A theoretical analysis of the transient coupled heat and mass transfer in an absorption film is presented. Analytical expressions for the temperature and concentration distributions are obtained using Fourier series expansion technique. The film depth is taken into account and nonhomogeneous boundary conditions at the lower surface of the film are considered. The effect of interracial convection on absorption by an infinitely deep solution is also analyzed using constant heat and mass transfer coefficients to account for the mixing. Analytical expressions of the temperature and concentration are obtained using Laplace transform technique. Comparison with experimental data allow an estimation of Lewis, Nusselt and Sherwood Numbers.
