HEAT TRANSFER − COMBUSTION INTERACTIONS IN NEAR-WALL CHEMICALLY REACTING FLOWS
摘要
Heat and mass transfer is modelled in a chemically reacting, turbulent boundary layer with injection. Specifically, combustion is assumed to occur in the pre-mixed mode. As combustion model a laminar-flamelet approach is adopted. Since heat transfer - combustion interactions depend strongly on the heat released by the flame, herein attention is focused on the chemical-source-term closure. Sensitivity analyses are performed to investigate the sensitivity of selected quantities with respect to various model constants. The numerical results are compared to experimental data available in the literature.
