摘要

Experimental results of heat transfer and pressure drop from six standard multilouvered surfaces are presented. The test rig, measuring and evaluation procedures are described briefly. All results are presented in nondimensional forms. The heat transfer data are mainly provided as Colburn j-factors vs Reynolds number and Nusselt numbers vs the reciprocal Graetz number. The pressure drop data are presented as friction factors vs Reynolds number. The performance comparison is carried out by considering the flow area goodness factor and volume goodness factor. The dimensions of the louvered surfaces are found to be of great importance. The results provide additional new data, complement and extend the already available data.
