摘要

In this paper we present results obtained in our laboratory since 5 years, concerning the Heat Pipe integration within Lithium batteries as thermal control device. From this important work we extract the influence of artificial gravity on the behavior of Heat Pipe, we give the influence of direction and intensity of this vector by the mean of experimental results obtained with a rotating apparatus realized in our laboratory. This results are obtained at "system level" by temperature measurement only.
A specific thermal analysis based on mathematical model of the meniscus evolution along grooves was drawn up. An experimental investigation has been conducted to simulate an open Heat Pipe (realized with grooves designed on a flat plate). So, we can show that is simple to measure the capillary liquid flow inside grooves and to determine the meniscus evolution along grooves. Results arc in good accordance with theory for low heat flux injected in the evaporator region.
