摘要

In the present paper, the effects of inlet pressure on the heat and mass transfer rate of an air cooler were predicted by the local analysis method. Moist air was compressed from 2 to 4 bar. Psychrometric properties such as dew point temperature, relative humditiy and humidity ratio were computerized because water vapor in moist air was condensed as the surface temperatures were below the dew point temperature. The effects of inlet pressure on heat transfer rate, dew point temperature, the rate of condensed water, outlet temperature of air and cooing water were calculated. The condensation process of water vapor was predicted in detail. The results of present calculations were compared with the design values.
