摘要

The objective of this paper is to present an experimental study results on absorption rate distribution characteristics of irradiation energy absorbed by the narrow channel wall, a part of regenerated desiccant rotor. Energy absorption rate was measured in conditions of different channel lengths, incident irradiation angles, temperatures and humidity. In order to understand energy distribution characteristics precisely, measurement was also performed with the channel made by silica gel and poly propylene (PP). In this study, a few predictions were proposed to evaluate the absorbed energy distribution rate. The results indicated no influence of ambient temperature and humidity on energy absorption rate, but showed symmetry phenomenon from different incident angles. Absorption intensity of silica gel rotor is larger than that of PP channel. The prediction by applying view factors in radiative heat transfer has been proved valid. We presented a functional relationship between absorbed irradiation energy distribution rate and view factors.
