摘要

The flow and heat and mass transfer of multiphase fluid through porous media are frequently encountered in natural and engineering systems, which is very complex. Furthermore, the presence of the catalytic reactions makes that problem even more complicated. In this study, a numerical approach for the multiphase reactive flow in porous media is presented. The reaction chosen occurs in a gas-liquid endothermic reactor of isopropanol/acetone/hydrogen chemical heat pump system. For this simulation, the fractal theory is used to construct porous medium. The lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is developed to simulate the flow and heat and mass transfer coupling the chemical reaction under various conditions. In the model, the multiphase thermal model is developed based on the coupling of the Shan-Chen model for multi-component and the Carnahan– Starling real-gas equation of state. The reaction process is investigated under various inlet velocities, reaction temperatures and porosity. The results indicate the lattice Boltzmann method is feasible for simulating the reactive multi-phase flows in porous media.
