摘要

When the droplet impacts on the heterogeneous surface consisting of alternating super-hydrophobic and hydrophilic stripes, it will split out into multiple tiny droplets. This splitting behavior will affect the heat transfer between the liquid and solid. In this article, the droplet impact process and evaporation process on the hydrophilic surface, super-hydrophobic surface and heterogeneous surface is studied by visualized experiment. The result shows that the evaporation time of the droplet on the super-hydrophobic surface is longest, and the time required for droplet vaporization on the heterogeneous is only 52% of that on the hydrophilic surface. Therefore, the method for partially coating with super-hydrophobic material on the hydrophilic surface can effectively promoting the droplet evaporation, which can improve the endothermic power of droplet from 0.753 W to 1.449 W.
