Abstract

A system of induction units of an existing air conditioning system has been analyzed with respect to its dynamic properties. Time constants were cal-caluculated and measured by analogue models. Comparison with measurements at the installation itself showed a reasonable agreement. Frequency responses were studied in the same way. Lumping of the thermal capacity of the water eliminates the frequency peaks predicted by calculations. The frequency responses at high frequencies in the analogue were charaterized by system of order 0, 1, 2 or 3 which is explained by the calculations if the frequency peaks are neglected.
