Abstract

In this paper we study the transverse-curvature effect on heat transfer in laminar free convection from the outer surface of a vertical circular cylinder by solving the governing system of equations by a very efficient two-point finite-difference method for various values of Prandtl number, Pr, and for various values of transverse curvature parameter ε.
