HEAT TRANSFER AND HYDRAULIC RESISTANCE WITH TURBULENT VAPOUR-GAS FLOW IN CHANNELS AT COOLING,CONDENSATION AND FREEZING
Abstract
The results of experimental investigation of heat transfer and hydraulic resistance with a turbulent flow of water vapour-air mixture in channels with the walls being cooled are presented. Unlike the earlier investigations of cooling vapour-gas mixtures, in the present case cooling of superheated mixture proceeds along the channel with further film condensation of vapour,and with the wall temperature decreasing below 0°C an ice layer is formed on it under the layer of flowing condensate.The conditions are determined for the steady regimes.
