Abstract

The model of the heat transfer crisis of the second type is considerd. The equation for the estimation of the film liquid flow rate and the intensity of drop separation from the flow core to the film is obtained. The calculated critical heat loads are compared with the experimental results in the range of pressure change from 20 to 125 bar, mass velocities from 500 to 4000 kg/m2s and channel diameters from 8 to 18 mm .
