Abstract

The experimental investigation of hydrodynamic instability is held at forced flow boiling of nitrogen in a channel at pressure from 2,6 up to 26,9 bar.
The thermal oscillations - channel wall temperature variation were studied. Is shown, that the thermal oscillations arise at heat flux essentially smaller critical heat flux and can exist in a wide range of change q, not resulting to burn-out. The increase of the flow rate and pressure renders stabilizing effect on flow of boiling nitrogen in a channel - displaces the moment of approach of thermal oscillations at a higher heat flux.
With a pressure increase the nature of thermal oscillations varies. In particular, at pressure more than 12 bar amplitude of wall temperature oscillation a essentially decreases and already at pressure 16 bar and more, the thermal oscillations practically are not essential.
