Abstract

A general theory of convective heat transfer is proposed for the extremely different conditions of the vortical flows of fluid (free convection in the ho rizontal layers, the fluid flow between the coaxial cylinders, the free convection in the large volume, vortical flows of fluid near the surface of heating at bubble boiling), which is based on the analysis of the boundary layer formed between the regular vortices and the surface of heat transfer.
