Abstract

A new approach to heat- and mass transfer processes intensification in multiphase systems is considered. Energy injected into the system is distributed dicretely through the apparatus volume and then is transformed within this volume in the form of short pulses. The possibility of this method practical realization by creating a system of vibrating bubbles uniformely distributed within the apparatus is discussed. The mathematical model of vapour bubbles growth (collapse) mechanism in the superheated liquid at sharp pressure change in the system is described. Limiting mechanisms of heat exchange between the bubble and the liquid are analized. It is shown that acoustic effects arizing in the liquid at bubbles vibration are comparable with con-ventional sources of ultrasonic vibrations as to their effective action on the processes of dispersion and heat- and mass transfer.
