Abstract

Various comparison methods had been employed to compare the air-side performance of convex-louver, wavy, and plain fin geometry. The methods includes area goodness factor, volume goodness factor, and other performance evaluation criteria to quantitatively investigate the air side performance of the convex-louver, wavy, and plain fin pattern.
