Abstract

The accurate determination of low thermal conductivity is important in several common practical applications such as in the study of rocks and food storage. The present paper attempts to focus on the accurate measurement of thermal conductivity of materials which have low thermal conductivity value, ie. less than 5 W/mK, discuss several types of errors associated with the measurement and suggest some possible remedies.
