Abstract

In the building physics domain, as in many fields, model making are facing an increasing complexity of systems. This goes necessarily with the development of reduced-order models of some sub-systems irrespective of the control aims. In this paper, we present a method using sub-structuring and local linear models reduction which allows us to couple them by nonlinear heat transfer laws. An example illustrates this approach. It emphasizes the good behavior of the reduced models, coupled with non-linearities in comparison with a local detailed formulation. It illustrates the way of extending their use in codes.
