THE DEVELOPHENT OF LAMINAR NATURAL-CONVECTIVE FLOW IN A VERTICAL DUCT OF CIRCULAR CROSS-SECTION THAT HAS A FLOW RESTRICTION AT THE BOTTOM
Abstrakt
The development of laminar natural-convective flow in heated vertical ducts that are restricted at the bottom is investigated theoretically and experimentally.
The equations governing laminar flow were solved numerically for a fluid having Pr = 0.7. The heat dissipating characteristics of restricted ducts and open thermosyphons are compared.
