Abstrakt

An experimental and theoretical study of transient heat conduction in composite walls is presented. Measurements of temperature rise inside the walls of a 1/4 scale model of an anode firing furnace submitted to a rapid temperature increase of heating gas have been realized. Experimental results are compared with those obtained with the help of a recent analytical method which has been adapted to time varying boundary values. Agreement between theoretical calculus of transient temperature field and measurements makes possible the prediction of flux and involved energy ; comparison of two kinds of walls is made.
