Abstrakt

A two-dimensional steady-state model is presented for a borehole in geothermal heat exchangers of the ground-source heat pump (GSHP) system. The relations between the temperatures and heat fluxes in composite regions have been discussed. The temperature distribution in the borehole with multiple line sources is obtained, and then the expression of the thermal resistance between the pipe wall and the borehole wall is derived. The factors influencing on the borehole thermal resistance are analyzed. In comparison with the simplified one-dimensional model, the new model provides more accurate and reliable approach for the design of GSHP systems.
