Abstrakt

Experiments have been carried out to study heat transfer with the condensation of potassium vapor moving downward in a vertical stainless steel tube 4 mm in diameter and 50 mm in length where the condensation of vapor flow was incomplete and the thermal resistance of condensate film could be neglected.
The thermal resistance of phase transition has been found to depend on vapor pressure and independent of its velocity, specific heat flux value, the shape and position of the condensation surface.
The condensation coefficient has been found to depend on vapor pressure.
