Abstrakt

Centres of spontaneous boiling are classified by the method of calculation of their activity. A class of centres, weak spots (WS), has been distinguished. A separate WS is characterized by its mass and ratio of attenuation of work of critical nucleus formation Ψ. The values of the summary mass of WS and Ψ have been obtained from the processing of experimental data obtained by the method of "pure" bubble chamber, the introduction of metal surfaces being controlled, and also by the method of pulse superheating on a platinum wire. Another class of spontaneous boiling centres is boiling cores (ВС). In ВС, together with the stochastic stage of development of subcritical bubble, there is a stage of deterministic growth. A case of activation boiling has been considered, when the initiating effect results in an increased number of pre-embryonic bubbles.
