Abstrakt

Flow boiling heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop of R-1234yf were measured in minichannels. The experimental data were observed in horizontal stainless steel tubes of 1.5 and 3.0 mm inner diameter under the following conditions: mass fluxes from 100 to 800 kg/m2s, the heat fluxes from 10 to 30 kW/m2, the saturation temperature from 5 to 15?C and the vapor quality from 0.1 to dryout state. The effects of mass flux, heat flux, saturation temperature and inner tube diameter on the heat transfer coefficient and frictional pressure drop were analyzed. The experimental results were also compared with some well-known correlations developed both for marco and micro channels. The new correlations of heat transfer coefficient was developed with using experimental data.
