UNSTEADY HEAT TRANSFER WITH LAMINAR FLOW FLUID IN A CYLINDRICAL TUBE
Sinopsis
Considered in this paper is a problem of unsteady heat transfer in the flow of viscous incompressible fluid in a cylindrical tube caused by time variation of a wall temperature, heat flux or inlet temperature. Asymptotic expansions for temperature field of the fluid which are true for large values of Fourier number are represented. The problem of stabilisation in time of Nusselt number is considered and the conditions for this stabilisation are found. General regularities are illustrated for the case of unsteady heat transfer with a laminar flow of fluid in a round tube.
