NATURAL CONVECTION IN AN OPEN ANNULAR SLOT
Sinopsis
Experimental and numerical study is reported for natural convection in an open vertical annular slot.
The slot is closed at the bottom and open at the top to ambient atmosphere. One of the lateral sides is electrically heated, the other being insulated.
Heat transfer and flow characteristics have been determined for different test conditions.
A model using a finite difference method has been established.
Comparisons of experiments and model are shown.
