CONVECTIVE, CONDUCTIVE AND RADIATIVE HEAT TRANSFER IN A TUBE SUBMITTED TO A NON UNIFORM CIRCUMFERENTIAL FLUX
Sinopsis
Heat transfer in a pipe submitted to a non uniform
circumferential flux is investigated taking
account of convective, conductive and radiative
exchanges. A semi-analytical solution of the wall
temperature is given. The influence of the main parameters,
Reynolds number, wall thickness, temperature
level is discussed which shows the relative
importance of all the heat transfer processes involved.
