EFFECTS OF GAS-SOLIDS SUSPENSION HETEROGENEITY ON CONVECTIVE, COMBINED AND RADIATIVE HEAT TRANSFER
Sinopsis
The effects of solid particles on heat transfer processes are examined. These effects are connected, in particular, with the additional thermal resistance due to the finite
intensity of intercomponent heat transfer. For convective heat transfer a generalized expression of the Lyon integral is obtained. It is also shown that the combined heat
transfer intensity may be higher than the sum of the two process intensities taken separately. For the case of radiative heating boundary values of the Fourier number
are found, where the effects of flow heterogeneity must be taken into account.
