Sinopsis

The general problem of magnetohydrodynamics heat transfer in finite ducts is formulated for fully developed flow conditions with an arbitrarily oriented applied magnetic field and variable heat flux boundary conditions on the surface contour of the cross section. From the general formulation, an exact solution is obtained for a rectangular region by the method of finite Fourier transforms. Numerical results are presented for two cases of thermal boundary conditions for various values of the characteristic parameters of the problem.
