Sinopsis

The influence of the angle φ between the tube axis and the flow direction on heat transfer has been studied for 15° ≤ φ ≤ 90° (cross flow). The Reynolds number was varied from 2·103 to 7·105 . Besides over-all heat transfer measurements local heat transfer data were collected for φ = 15° and φ = 30°. The boundary condition was T ∼ const.
