SOLID ADDITIVES FOR ENHANCING NUCLEATE POOL BOILING OF BINARY MIXTURES ON A SMOOTH AND A GEWA-T TUBE
Sinopsis
The experimental results of enhanced nucleate pool boiling of binary mixtures on a smooth and a Gewa-T tube by a kind of solid additive are presented. The solid additive is composed of two surfactants, one is a kind of anionic surfactant, the other is a cationic surfactant. The mixed solid surfactant (WT) can be dissolved in tested binary mixtures. The experimental results have shown that at the same heat flux with a concentration of one mg WT/Kg binary mixtures, the boiling heat transfer coefficients could be raised 2-3 times higher than that of without the additive on a smooth tube and raised 15-43% higher on a Gewa-T tube.
