Résumé

Local values of heat transfer coefficients were measured for argon flowing through electrically-heated molybdenum and tungsten tubes for the following range of conditions: local surface temperatures up to 2930° K, inlet Reynolds numbers from 54000 to 145000, local ratio of surface-to-total bulk temperatures up to 4,2. Heat fluxes varied along the tubes up to 4 times.
