Résumé

Experimental data have been taken as regard to heat transfer coefficients and pressure drops for refrigerants R-11 and R-113 condensing inside a vertical annulus in forced convection. Heat transfer data are compared with results predicted by existing correlations and theoretical analyses. It is found that Butterworth's analysis overestimates the experimental results, while Shah's equation, Cavallini-Zecchin's equation and Boyko-Kruzhilin's equation tend to underestimate the experimental data to different extent; these two last equations give anyway predictions in fair agreement with the experiments.
