Résumé

Results are presented of measurements of velocity and temperature profiles and of turbulent fluxes of momentum and heat for air flow over a flat plate, part of which was kept at a temperature of about 11 K above ambient temperature. The work is a continuation of that reported on by Blom (1) at the Fourth International Heat Transfer Conference.
Flow measurements were performed by hot-wire anemometry, using single wire and X-wire probes, and temperature measurements by resistance thermometry, using small sensors of a special construction.
From the experimental data values of the eddy diffusivities for momentum and heat and of the turbulent Prandtl number were derived.
