UNSTEADY STAGNATION POINT HEAT TRANSFER DUE TO ARBITRARY TIMEWISE-VARIANT FREE STREAM VELOCITY
Résumé
The paper presents an analysis for the unsteady, incompressible laminar forced convection around the front stagnation region of both two-dimensional and axi-symmetrical bodies caused by an arbitrary timewise-variant free stream velocity. Consideration is given to the response of skin friction and heat transfer rate under a presribed wall temperature or wall heat flux for a wide variety of Prandtl numbers including a nearly-zero value which corresponds to a potential flow.
