INTERFACE OSCILLATIONS AND HEAT TRANSFER MECHANISM AT FILM BOILING
Résumé
The results of the experimental and theoretical studies of
quasistationary film boiling are presented. The experiment
was carried out with a horizontal cylinder in a pool of water
having used a laser and acoustic techniques. The physical
model of local heat transfer, quasistatic and dynamic balance of
interface surface is suggested. The correlations for local
parameters: heat flux, effective and mean vapor film thickness,
wave amplitude have been obtained both for saturated and
subcooling liquid. The results of calculation are compared with
the data for horizontal cylinder.
