Résumé

Accurate, repeatable heat-transfer data have been obtained for condensation of steam and CFC113 on integral-fin tubes made of copper, brass and bronze, with rectangular-section fins with heights in the range 0.5 mm to 1.6 mm, and all other geometric parameters constant. The results were weakly dependent on fin thermal conductivity for CFC113 and strongly dependent in the case of steam. The data compared well with a recent theoretical model of Briggs and Rose (1994).
