In this study, a 2D-axisymmetric numerical model was performed to simulate the steam-air mixture jet condensed into subcooled water on commercial CFD software ANSYS CFX 15.0, which was based on Euler-Euler two-fluid model. The Particle model and the thermal phase change model was carried out to calculate interphase transfer and condensation of steam in the steam-air mixture gas, respectively. The composition variation of the gas mixture was calculated using the species transport equation for the gas phase. This model was validated with experimental and numerical results. The results show that the present method can predict the steam-air jet condensation and could be employed to simulate other similar processes.
