要約

The present paper deals with the results of an experimental investigation of flooding in vertical channel, aiming at ascertaining the influence of channel length and diameter on the behaviour of the phenomenon. Several channel lengths (from 0.5 to 0.9 m) and channel diameters (from 8.0 to 20.0 mm) were investigated. Tests with different channel lengths (D = 20 mm) were carried out also with flow obstructions placed in the middle of the channel.
Experimental data are presented and discussed focusing the reference conditions for the comparison of experiments with different channel lengths, channel diameters, with and without flow obstructions.
