要約

The investigation of mass and heat transfer from straight radial blades rotating in the air have been carried out by means of a naphthalene sublimation method. The measurements were carried out within the range of rotational Reynolds numbers from 1.19 × 104 to 31.1 × 104. The results of the measurements on a rotating blade and on its windward and leeward sides were generalized by means of functional dependences of Sherwood and Nusselt numbers on a rotational Reynolds number. The average values of mass and heat transfer from a rotating blade and from its windward side are compared with those published in literature concerning similar cases of flow. This comparison also shows the convenience of using the Chilton - Colburn heat - mass transfer analogy factor in the case investigated.
