要約

This paper reports an experimental study of boiling heat transfer in vertical annuli of 60.3 mm inside diameter, and of 5 and 10 mm width. Vapor bubbles were introduced into the annuli upstream of the heated section of the annulus. It was found that these injected bubbles had a strong effect on the heat transfer coefficient in the heated section. It was also found that the 5 mm gap produced higher local heat transfer coefficients than the 10 mm gap, and that the heat transfer coefficient at the top of the annuli was always higher than the coefficient at the bottom of the annulus.
