要約

The aim of the experimental study of air-water two-phase flow was to investigate the onset of pressure drop oscillations in three parallel channels flow. This paper presents the methodology and obtained results for the individual channels in a single and the three channels mode operation. It was proved that, the interchannel interaction can lead to the unstable two-phase flow regimes under stable hydrodynamic characteristics of individual channels and the total system. This result leads to the conclusion that self-induced oscillations are possible under specific flow regimes of individual channels in parallel circuit operation. It was shown that the self induced oscillations are caused by the nonlinear behaviour of two-phase flow during oscillatory operation of individual channels of the total system.
