ENERGY FROM WASTE: THERMAL ENERGY RECOVERY FROM COMBUSTION PRODUCTS OF HALOGENATED ORGANIC VENT STREAMS
要約
A three-stage system for recovering thermal energy from combustion products of halogenated organics is designed. The heat exchanger system, which consists of a superheater, a boiler, and a preheater (otherwise referred to as an economizer), is intended to be an integral part of an air emission control system. The recovery of thermal energy is designed to yield process benefits as well as to make the pollution control process partially pay for itself through steam generation from the recovered heat.
