要約

Network Transfer Function (NTF) is a relationship established between input and output variables of a system in the form of a graph; they are constituted by the network model or analogue electric circuit of the process, with the exception of the elements which model the frontier conditions in the input and output sections. NTF accomplish all the requirements of a classical transfer function, express a phenomenological relationship and contain all the information about the studied system —they do not work just as a black box, as a thermal transmission matrix (TTM) does—, without the need to reformulate the transfer function.
The NTF of a fin-wall assembly has been built for the cascade junction of a wall and an isolated fin. The coefficients of the TTM of this system are obtained in a time-dependent process and also in the frequency domain. By means of the cascade and parallel algorithms, the NTF of a 2D array of several fin-wall assemblies forming a heat exchanger was constructed and the transient process studied; performance coefficients (reverse admittances) and the TTM of the system, linking input and output heats and temperatures, are also obtained. The problem is solved by means of the numerical Network Simulation Method.
