要約

An adsorption bed based on the evacuated tube of solar radiation collector has been developed and tested on spot for its thermal performance. By analyzing the evolution of the bed temperature and the corresponding weather records, the relevance between them is interpreted. The difference of the thermal performance of the inclined and the leveled deployment of the adsorption bed is discussed. Upon analyzing the relationship of the maximum/average temperature of the bed with the gross solar radiation heat in a day, it is revealed that there exists roughly linearly correlation between them. The test results show that the bed temperature varies along the circumference less than along the radial direction. The axial non-uniformity of the bed temperature is attributed to the end-cooling effect of the extending part of the alloy tube. The time delay of the maximum bed temperature with respect to the maximum solar radiation is variable with the weather condition. The time delay ranges from 1 to 4 hours approximately. In addition, a numerical simulation to the temperature change of the bed for the 2-D case has been conducted and the preliminary numerical results are presented.
